Do You Know Your Size?Posted on the 15th March, 2017
How many times have you bought an item of clothing online, or even in store, only to find that it just doesn’t fit quite how you had expected it to? Sure, you ordered your regular size, but this one is a little more snug than your other clothes in the same size.
It’s frustrating and confusing trying to keep track of what an XL or a 2X means in one shop compared to another. Well, you can say goodbye to guesswork when you order from SizeBase – let’s tell you a little about it.
We get an item of clothing into our range from one of our many stylish brands which we can then pass on to you, our customer!
Once the item enters our range, we measure it by hand so we know that we have the accurate measurements, allowing us to create our size charts.
We have created size charts using the measurements for each product. This involves us matching a size such as L or XL to measurements such as 48 inches or 52 inches.
Once you know your measurements, you can be certain of your size with the size charts provided for clothing items. Of course, these sizes depend on the way in which you want the item to fit. If you would like a looser fit, we would advise adding a number of inches to each measurement:
– T-shirts and knitwear – add 2-4”
– Shirts, hoodies and rugby shirts – add 4-6”
– Casual jackets – add 4-6”
– Dressing gowns – add 10-12”
This means that whether you’re ordering L or 3X, you can be sure of the size you will receive when the SizeBase parcel arrives, taking the guesswork out of your sizing. It couldn’t be simpler than that!
When you are looking for trousers and jeans, you simply need to measure your waist and choose your size, no need to look for sizing charts! We offer varying sizes, with BIG fits from 40-60” waists with inside leg options of 30-34”, and TALL fits 32-50” with 34-39” lengths.
We are so confident that you will get the perfect fit when following the ‘Sizing at SizeBase
